Girls Generation’s Taeyeon Is Going To Take Us To Heaven

Girls Generation’s Taeyeon returns with her new single Heaven.

My queen has returned! Ahh I think if you are long time readers of the blog you know how much I absolutely love Taeyeon and her music. I got so excited when I saw we would finally get another comeback. I am a bit sad it is just a new single but we will take what we can get am I right? Well, the concept photos for this comeback had me more than intrigued, Taeyeon looked heavenly (pun intended) and every time she gets her heart broken we seem to get a new banger. Let’s review.

Heaven is exactly what I thought it would be. I think this is the perfectly groovy summer single for Taeyeon. It isn’t one of those slower winter ballads but Heaven is full of oomph and groove. The chorus is incredibly catchy and the pre-chorus gets me hyped just before the chorus hits. I can basically see myself grooving to this while being on a hot summer drive home. Taeyeon doesn’t miss and this is the perfect pop focused banger I needed to start the week off. Taeyeon delivered with Heaven an upbeat summer track that suits her vocal power. Now give us a new album queen I am ready.

I do have to say though I find the music video slightly disturbing, but it is also visually really interesting.
