The first episode was enough to pull me into this wild story, with empathy for Mijin and looking for answers in the show. The bulk of the show focuses on how Lee Mijin renamed Lim Sun for her older state during the day, as she navigates working at the Seohan Prosecutors District Office helping none other than Gye Jiung solve a series of missing persons cases dating back 20 years ago. We look into Gye's backstory and his attachment to this particular case. Gye is a handsome, workaholic who strives for perfectionist, we see him clashing with a female prosecutor named Ms. Tak who will subtly flirt, Along the way we see outright comedic moments, subtle romantic gestures, thrilling detective work, and friendly connections. The main character is authentically human and realistic despite a fairytale of aging between night and day, along with strong parents with amusing personalities, an influencer friend that has a heart of gold, and Gye's fellow prosecutor who adds into the comedic moments, the show has a stellar cast.
This show was very well done, with all characters performing at their peak, the viewer felt apart of the story with each episode building upon the main case. I can say I am the biggest Mijin supporter after watching this. The ending left nothing to be desired, while I don't want to spoil the ending I will just say the pain and angst we sat through was worth it.
