BB Girls return to use with second single album Love2.
BBGirls are our favourite underdogs and a group that deserves a lot more love and appreciation when it comes to their music and the quality they put out every time. Although the group has gone through agency and line-up changes, it’s so good to see them back. I was really looking forward to this comeback and I am glad to see that they’re still leaning into their amazing retro style because it suits them so much. I still listen to Can I Love You like a madman and strongly wish that the b-side could’ve got a music video as well. LOVE 2 seems like it will be another lovely melodic track from BBGirls so let’s dive into it and review what the girls provided us with!
LOVE 2 is such a lovely song. It’s definitely still continuing the recognizable old-school feeling BBGirls really know how to deliver, but also promising something new, a new path for the group, after all. It’s melodic and sweet, and paired with the music video and the lyrics, it makes for a new chapter of BBGirls’ musical and career journey. It’s definitely not their strongest song, but considering this is a single album and the group has gone through a lot, it feels like a nice, warm hug of a song that will keep us company during these winter days. It’s nice seeing the girls continue to release music together and I think LOVE 2 makes for a pretty solid winter comeback and a nice gift for fans as well. Easy, catchy city pop tracks are where they really shine and showcase their mature style.
LOVE 2 confirms the group’s unbreakable bond and really sets the mood for their future adventures. Let’s keep fighting!
