Why AHOF’s Kyocera Dome Appearance Is an Important Step in Its Japanese Rise
AHOF is taking another significant step in Japan, this time at the intersection of K-pop, fashion and youth culture.
The nine-member group is scheduled to perform at Kansai Collection 2026 Autumn & Winter on August 13 at Kyocera Dome Osaka. The appearance marks AHOF’s first invitation to the large-scale fashion and entertainment event, bringing Steven, Seo Jeongwoo, Cha Woongki, Zhang Shuaibo, Park Han, JL, Park Juwon, Zu An and Daisuke before an audience extending beyond the group’s existing fandom.
Rather than operating as a conventional runway show, Kansai Collection combines fashion presentations with music performances, creators, models and interactive content. That format gives AHOF an opportunity to introduce its performance style to viewers who may not already follow Korean idol promotions.
The event’s official website confirms that the 31st edition will be held at Kyocera Dome Osaka from 1 p.m. until approximately 8 p.m. The organizer says Kansai Collection, which began in Osaka in 2011, surpassed 800,000 cumulative visitors with its previous edition.
AHOF’s Japan Expansion Continues With Major Fashion Event Performance / Official Group’s XFrom Fan Events to a Major Dome Platform
AHOF’s appearance is more meaningful when viewed alongside the group’s steady Japanese activities over the past year.
Following its 2025 debut, AHOF organized release events in Osaka and Tokyo for its first mini-album, “WHO WE ARE.” Those events combined live performances and conversations with closer fan experiences including high-touch sessions, autograph events and group photographs.
The group returned to Japan for further promotions connected to its second mini-album, “The Passage,” before staging mini fan concerts in Osaka and Tokyo in January 2026. Instead of relying on one brief promotional visit, AHOF has repeatedly returned to the same major markets, gradually creating familiarity with Japanese audiences.
That groundwork led to the Japanese leg of AHOF’s first Asia tour, “THE FIRST SPARK.” The group performed at Zepp Namba in Osaka on June 25 and Zepp Haneda in Tokyo on June 27. The wider tour was organized across eight Asian cities, with 10 performances announced in total.
Kansai Collection represents a different type of exposure. AHOF is no longer appearing only at an album event or a ticketed concert primarily attended by fans. The group is joining a multidisciplinary event inside Kyocera Dome, where fashion and social-media culture are as important as music.
AHOF’s Japan Expansion Continues With Major Fashion Event Performance / Official Group’s XA Multinational Group With a Natural Connection to Japan
AHOF was created through SBS’s survival program “Universe League.” Its name is an abbreviation of “All-time Hall Of Famer,” expressing the members’ ambition to establish a lasting place in K-pop.
The group’s multinational lineup is central to its overseas potential. Its members represent several countries and markets, while Daisuke gives AHOF a direct connection to Japan. His presence can help make Japanese interviews, audience interactions and promotional content feel more immediate, although the group’s long-term progress will ultimately depend on its music and continued local engagement.
Performing at Kansai Collection also allows the members to highlight elements that are particularly important for a newer idol group: individual styling, visual identity and stage presence. These qualities can reach viewers through runway photographs and short-form videos even when they have not heard AHOF’s full discography.
The opportunity should therefore be understood as part of a broader audience-building process, rather than proof that the group has already secured mainstream recognition throughout Japan.
RUN TO YOU Begins Its International Stage
The Kyocera Dome appearance comes approximately one month after AHOF released its third mini-album, “RUN TO YOU,” on July 8. The release was the group’s first new album in about eight months and followed the opening concerts of its debut Asia tour. The official release date is confirmed through Weverse Shop’s album notice.
This timing gives AHOF fresh material to present while its promotional cycle is still active. It also connects the Korean comeback with an international schedule, allowing the group to carry the album into a major Japanese entertainment event instead of limiting its activities to domestic music programs.
AHOF remains a relatively young group, but its Japanese strategy is becoming increasingly visible. Release events established direct contact with fans, mini fan concerts strengthened that relationship, and the Asia tour demonstrated an ability to stage independent performances. Kansai Collection now offers something different: access to a broader lifestyle and fashion audience inside one of Osaka’s best-known venues.
For AHOF, the Kyocera Dome stage is less about the size of a solo audience and more about where the group is being introduced next.
