The woman, identified only as A, was accused of visiting Jungkook’s residence in Yongsan District, Seoul, several times in December last year.
Investigators found that she rang the doorbell, stayed near the property, and left mail around the home. On one occasion, she reportedly rang the doorbell dozens of times.
The case drew attention because it involved repeated visits to the private residence of a globally known K-pop artist.
Unauthorized Entry Reportedly Took Place After Delivery Visit
The court also found that A entered Jungkook’s residence on December 13.
According to the investigation, she entered through an open door after a food delivery worker had accessed the building.
She was later arrested at the scene as a current offender.
Stalking Continued Despite Police Warning
After her arrest, police issued a warning and took emergency protective measures.
A was ordered not to approach within 100 meters of Jungkook’s home. However, investigators said she returned near the residence in January and left photos and printed materials.
The court noted that she continued the stalking behavior even after being warned not to approach the victim’s home.

In its ruling, the court said the defendant repeated the offense despite being released after receiving a warning.
The court also noted that Jungkook had requested strict punishment.
However, the court handed down a suspended sentence after considering that there was no clear evidence the defendant intended to physically harm the victim. It also said the violation of emergency protective measures was not considered extremely severe.
