Dubai Fashion Week Set To Return In October For Ss27

Home to artistic innovation of the highest calibre, Dubai Design District (d3) has just announced the schedule for the next edition of Dubai Fashion Week (DFW). With a focus on Spring/Summer 2027 collections, the event will run from October 22 to 26, 2026.

In collaboration with Arab Fashion Council, d3 has curated the programme to champion haute couture from the region’s favourite Maisons, along with designs from upcoming labels and modistes. The lineup will also include leading buyers and industry stakeholders, cementing its position as a significant part of the region’s style circuit. The showcase is the latest evidence of Dubai’s firmly evolving nature as a global fashion hub.

Major participants and established retailers will also be invited to grow their networks through social events like the dedicated ‘Buyers Programme’ that will run alongside the runway parades to facilitate alliances for couturiers and clients through personalised meetings and consultations featuring sample ensembles. Key press outlets and fashion broadcasters will get a chance to join the community as well.

The exhibition will be the first stop on the list of its international namesakes in global fashion headquarters New York, London, Milan and Paris. Shortlisting for participants is currently underway, with designers welcome to submit portfolios through the DFW website. All applications will be reviewed by a zealous Selection Committee to ensure participating fashion houses capture the region’s developing sartorial narrative and abide by the pillars of the event: a tolerance for diversity, a focus on culture and an eco-conscious mindset.

It is preceded by the Autumn/Winter 2026 edition, which saw new and old faces take the stage, with a lineup spanning brands like THAT Concept Store, Lama Jouni, Manish Malhotra and more.

Last year, the SS26 catwalks took place in early September, with all eyes on the curated list of international and local designers that opted to spotlight their catalogues here in a true celebration of modern art, creativity and trending apparel. Expect more of the same from this year’s eagerly awaited rendition of the elite affair.
