A Historic Jump from Short-Form Drama to the Big Screen

After-School Exorcism Club: Girls’ Night is a teen occult comedy that follows five quirky, high-spirited high school girls who team up to banish a restless spirit haunting their school. The project originally launched on May 22, 2026, as a premium short-form drama series on the mobile platform KITS. Due to its massive popularity, it has made history as the very first Korean short-form mobile drama to be adapted for an official theatrical release.

From its very early production stages, the creators planned this content to expand across multiple formats, including a movie version, a mid-form series, and a short-form drama. Most notably, the movie shares a completely interconnected story universe with FIFTY FIFTY’s upcoming fourth mini-album, Imperfect-I’mperfect. The script was also specially tailored to match the real-life personalities and unique charms of each individual member.

Rather than simply stitching vertical mobile clips into a horizontal theater format, the film includes high-quality animation to add more depth to the story. This special theater edition uses animation to reveal the hidden backstories of the school ghosts, combining live-action acting with animation to give viewers a brand-new experience.

Meet the Members and Their Unique Characters

The newly released main poster features the eerie caption, “Cursed School, Chosen Children,” showing the FIFTY FIFTY members standing together on a spooky school staircase in the middle of the night. Each member will showcase a completely different charm as they face off against frightening school urban legends:

  • Keena: Plays ‘Na Jin-sim,’ a terrible student who holds the lowest grades in the entire school but serves as the ace exorcist who can see ghosts.
  • Chanelle Moon: Plays ‘Wang So-ra,’ a naturally gifted athlete and sports star student.
  • Yewon: Plays ‘Choi Woo-soo,’ a straight-A student and an absolute perfectionist.
  • Hana: Plays ‘Geum Jo-yeon,’ an eccentric, lovely, and highly enthusiastic member of the school broadcasting club.
  • Athena: Plays ‘Jo A-yeong,’ an occult fanatic who happens to be the only daughter of a wealthy, prominent local family.

FIFTY FIFTY’s exciting big-screen debut in After-School Exorcism Club: Girls’ Night will open exclusively across CGV theaters nationwide on June 25, 2026.
