ILLIT is no longer just asking for attention. This time, they are claiming it.

The group unveiled the campaign film for “It’s Me,” the title track from their fourth mini album ‘MAMIHLAPINATAPAI’ on April 23 through HYBE Labels’ official YouTube channel. Running for about two minutes and five seconds, the film immediately caught attention with its fast-paced visuals, intense mood, and a sharper image that signals a clear shift in ILLIT’s comeback direction.

From Innocence to Confidence

Until now, ILLIT has often been associated with a youthful, dreamy image. But in the “It’s Me” campaign film, the members step into a much bolder identity.

The video follows the emotional tension of someone caught in an uncertain relationship with the person they like. Instead of staying quiet or hiding their feelings, the emotion builds until it finally bursts. That turning point becomes the core message of the track: choosing honesty, confidence, and direct expression.

It is a familiar feeling for young listeners the nervousness of wanting to be chosen, mixed with the thrill of deciding to choose yourself first.

“Who’s Your Bias? I’m Your Bias”

The most memorable line arrives with a playful but powerful declaration: “Who’s your bias? I’m your bias.”

It is simple, catchy, and perfectly built for social media. More importantly, it captures the entire attitude of the comeback. ILLIT is not presenting a shy confession. They are turning crush energy into self-assured pop energy.

The song itself leans into techno, with heavy beats, a rushing structure, and an addictive melody designed to hit quickly. The short preview already suggests a track built around instant impact the kind of sound that sticks after one listen.

A Comeback Built for Replays

What makes “It’s Me” feel effective is how clearly it understands ILLIT’s current position. Rather than completely abandoning their youthful charm, the group appears to be upgrading it with stronger visuals, more direct lyrics, and a more intense performance mood.

The result is a comeback concept that feels both fresh and strategic. It keeps ILLIT’s bright, high-energy appeal while adding a new layer of confidence.

What Comes Next

ILLIT will release ‘MAMIHLAPINATAPAI’ on April 30 at 6 p.m. KST. To celebrate the comeback, the group is also set to perform at Seoul Children’s Grand Park on May 5.

With “It’s Me,” ILLIT seems ready to deliver more than just a new song.

They are making a statement: the bias list might already have a new answer.
