Jin Wears Jungkook’s Face To Airport: A Bts Moment

BTS member Jin found a characteristically playful way to support Jungkook as the group departed South Korea for its next international schedule.

Jin arrived at Incheon International Airport on September 30 wearing a black T-shirt printed with a large photograph of Jungkook’s face. The unexpected choice immediately attracted attention from reporters, fans and the other BTS members traveling with him.

Jin, Jungkook, V, Jimin and J-Hope were photographed together before boarding a flight to Atlanta. They were traveling ahead of BTS’s upcoming concerts in Bogotá, Colombia, which will open the Latin American portion of the group’s “ARIRANG” world tour.

Jungkook Responds With a 90-Degree Bow

Jungkook appeared amused when he noticed that the group’s oldest member had arrived wearing his face across his shirt.

Photographs from the airport showed the singer looking directly at Jin’s outfit before responding with a deep 90-degree bow, a gesture traditionally associated with respect in Korea. In this context, however, the formal greeting appeared to become part of the members’ joke.

J-Hope, V and Jimin were also seen smiling as the interaction unfolded. The relaxed atmosphere offered fans another glimpse of BTS’s chemistry away from the concert stage.

Jin completed the look with natural hair and minimal styling, allowing the Jungkook shirt to remain the clear focus of his airport outfit.

BTS’s Oldest and Youngest Members Continue Their Playful Dynamic

Jin is the oldest member of BTS, while Jungkook is the group’s youngest. Their contrast has long been part of the group’s chemistry, with Jin frequently rejecting the expectation that he must always behave like a serious older brother.

Instead, their interactions often involve teasing, exaggerated reactions and a level of informality that makes the age difference feel less important.

The airport moment captured that familiar dynamic without requiring a prepared statement or official piece of content. Jin did not explain why he selected the shirt, so it should not be treated as evidence of a specific campaign or promotional plan.

What the photographs clearly show is a lighthearted exchange between two members immediately before an important tour schedule.

BTS Heads to Colombia for ‘ARIRANG’ World Tour

BTS will perform at Bogotá’s El Campín Stadium on October 2 and 3. The concerts begin the group’s run through Latin America, with additional stops scheduled in Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo.

The “ARIRANG” tour began in April and marks BTS’s first extensive world tour following the completion of the members’ military service period and their return to full-group activities.

The tour stretches across Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia, with more than 70 performances scheduled through March 2027.

Its Bogotá dates have already generated significant local attention. Preparations for the large-scale stadium production required an extended installation period at El Campín, highlighting the technical demands of BTS’s current 360-degree concert format.

Against that massive backdrop, Jin’s T-shirt offered a smaller and more personal moment. Hours before returning to a stadium stage, BTS appeared at the airport not only as global performers, but as members still capable of making one another laugh.

For fans, the appeal of the photographs lies less in the shirt itself than in Jungkook’s immediate reaction. One member arrived wearing the other’s face, and the youngest responded by bowing as though he had just received the highest possible honor.

It was brief, spontaneous and unmistakably BTS.
